We Measure Our Success by Your Success

The Office for Trade Promotion (OTP) partners with an extended network of public and private-sector organizations to convene signature events that foster international dialogue, generate business opportunities, educate the public, and provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) the resources they need to thrive in today’s complex trade environment.

In addition to ensuring the International Trade Center (ITC) offers a rich mix of programs, the OTP drives initiatives that raise awareness of the economic benefits that can be realized through trade.

As the programming arm of the ITC, the Office for Trade Promotion:

  • Communicates to:
    • Improve awareness of export assistance programs
    • Generate pre- and post-event publicity
    • Increase the level of information sharing with SMEs

  • Collaborates to:
    • Develop content-rich trade programs
    • Extend marketing channels
    • Bolster service offerings

The momentum generated by these initiatives:

  • Cultivates:
    • Trade literacy
    • Business alliances and networks
    • Capacity-building programs
    • Cross-cultural understanding and cooperation

  • Creates:
    • Competitive advantages for U.S. businesses
    • New partnerships and key connections
    • Increased prosperity at home and abroad
    • A transparent dialogue on trade issues
